ABOUT RAIN ANGEL
I’m Jule, the founder of Rain Angel.
Fashion, art, and personal expression have always fascinated me. With Rain Angel, I bring these passions together by giving pre-loved garments a new form, a new aesthetic, and a new story.
I love reimagining what already exists: combining materials, transforming silhouettes, and turning something familiar into something entirely its own. Each piece is created intuitively and experimentally, with a strong focus on detail and craftsmanship.
To me, upcycling is more than simply giving clothing a second life — it is a creative process of transformation. Something that already exists becomes something completely new, something that cannot be found anywhere else.
For me, individuality begins where you dare to be different. Rain Angel stands for individuality, exclusivity, and one-of-a-kind design.
That’s why my guiding principle for Rain Angel is:
“Unique pieces, unique people.”
HOW DID THE BRAND NAME CAME?
I have been studying Western and Chinese astrology since my earliest childhood. So it made sense for me to find out about Iranian astrology together with a Persian person.
The name "Rain Angel" is therefore the result of my involvement with Iranian culture and Persian astrology, as well as the meaning of Tīr, which is decisive for the naming of my brand. The translation and meaning of Tīr is "Regenengel" in German. I felt deeply connected to this meaning and decided to name my brand after the free English translation "Rain Angel".
SUSTAINABILITY
Rain Angel stands first and foremost for sustainability and slow fashion. As an upcycling fashion brand, I want to contribute to a critical examination of fast fashion consumption and the associated conditions of mass production. For my designs, I work exclusively with existing second-hand and vintage clothing. I transform these pieces into unique, one-of-a-kind items with my own artistic and design ideas. My aim is to give new value and a new life to garments that may have already been discarded or no longer loved – in the hope that they will be rediscovered, appreciated, and worn with joy again.
INDIVIDUALITY and EXCLUSIVITY
For many people, clothing is more than just what they wear – it's a way to express personality and individuality. Rain Angel follows precisely this vision. Through upcycling, I transform second-hand and vintage clothing into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces with my own artistic and design ideas. Each piece is carefully handcrafted and available only once. This results in fashion that isn't mass-produced, but rather creates space for personal expression. With Rain Angel, you can express your individuality through special and exclusive pieces – far removed from fleeting trends and interchangeable mass-produced goods.
CREATIVITY
For me, creativity means thinking beyond the obvious. I don't just see what a garment once was, but also what it can become.
